2. Payment Processing via Shopify Payments

All payments on our website are securely processed through Shopify Payments, a fully PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. Shopify Payments utilizes industry-standard encryption to ensure your transaction details are kept completely safe.

Your payment method will be authorised and charged when your order is placed or shortly afterwards, subject to approval by your payment provider. Your bank may temporarily display the transaction as pending while it is being processed.

If payment has been captured but we are unable to accept or fulfil your order, we will cancel the affected order and issue a full refund to the original payment method without undue delay. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

3. Pricing & Currency

Our website utilizes a localized market system to ensure transparent pricing:

• US Market: Product prices are displayed in United States Dollars (USD) before any applicable US sales tax. The $3.99 shipping fee will be added at checkout.
• Australian Market (/en-au): Product prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of the 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) as required by local law. Shipping to Australia is free.

4. Pricing Errors

If we identify an obvious pricing error before accepting an order, we may contact you and ask whether you wish to proceed at the correct price, or we may cancel the affected order. We will not charge a higher price without your express agreement.

5. Tax Information

• US Sales Tax: Where required, US sales tax is calculated and displayed before payment at checkout.
• Australian GST: For orders placed through our Australian subfolder, GST is already included in the displayed product price. There are no hidden taxes at checkout.
• UK VAT: Geer Goods is not registered for UK VAT. UK VAT is not charged on orders delivered to the US or Australia.

6. Payment Security

We take the security of your payment information seriously. All transactions on geergoods.shop are encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. We recommend that you do not send payment details via email under any circumstances.
